Black Swan’s Plastic-Gasket Sealant is an amber colored, smooth flowing semi-viscous liquid. It is used as a coating on plastic pipe such as PVC, CPVC, or ABS to improve leak-free sealing of rubber gaskets. The high performance polymer resin compound is elastic and resists vibration and temperature change. It is a fast drying sealant that adheres to both pipe and rubber gaskets providing a flexible adherent membrane coating. Gaskets on non-porous surfaces may be taken apart at any time without injury to sealed surface. Temperature use range from (-65° F to 400° F) continuous. Plastic-Gasket Sealant is made to be used on plastic pipes- PVC, CPVC, ABS. It should not be used on painted surfaces.
